Three Island's one photo, Arran, Bute and Cumbrae, Clyde Estuary. Scotland
Three Island’s one photo. The main background Island is the “Isle of Arran” with it’s mist covered mountain peaks and mysterious Glen’s, once quoted as being Scotland in minature, how true it is!! The middle outcrop of land is “Garroch Head” part of the “Isle of Bute” and right at it’s tip is the lovely sheltered “Glencallum Bay” and the small lighthouse of “Rubh an Eun” a guide for Clyde Estuary shipping. The third island in the foreground where the cattle are resting and where I took the photo from it’s highest point, the “Glaid Stone” trig point is the “Isle of Cumbrae” another popular island for visitors who wish to either walk or cycle round it’s 10mile circular coast. Three Island’s one photo, all Magnificent places to visit and so easy to get too.

The other photos have been geo-tagged as on or around the summit. For less busy mountains, it can be a little hit and miss.

- Data: Database of British and Irish Hills v18.2
- Maps: We use OS mapping for England, Scotland, Wales, and the Isle of Man. Sadly, Channel Islands, Northern (OSNI) and Southern Ireland (OSI) mapping isn't available online, so we use Openstreetmap.
