Moorland cloudshow
A view over the moorland between the A470 and Moel Ysgyfarnogod / Foel Penolau in north Wales. It's a fine route up these two peaks from near Cefn Clawdd farm (to the east) if you're tempted.

Looking towards the summit of Foel Penolau in north Wales. Clearly a wall designed to keep only large animals out...?

I spent around three hours at this location last august. The stone monument was lit by the setting moon. I had to wait a further hour to get some sort of Milky way at the location. Getting back to the car at 2 in the morning was interesting !
