Tryfan from the East
We were up and out of bed at 03.30 on Sunday morning ready to tackle the Glyderau in Snowdonia and I was extremely excited. We were climbing Twyll Du (the Devil's Kitchen) in the Ogwen Valley around 5.30am, continued up Glyder Fawr (in thick mist), over to Glyder Fach (again in thick mist) and down towards this point which is at the top of the Miner's Path overlooking Tryfan and alongside Llyn Caseg-Fraith. After all of the danger clambering over high wet rocks I tripped and broke a finger while walking along a flat sedate part of the mountain but nevertheless soldiered on to complete the 13 hour hike down Bwlch y Ddeugwm and back to the car.
