Cul Beag
The view from the northern side of Loch Sionasgaig towards Cul Beag just after sunrise. I liked the shape of the foreground rock as well as the islands on the loch. Sony A7. Sony FE 28-70.

Cul Beag
Camping on the northern shores of loch Sionasgaig meant I could enjoy both the sunset and sunrise. This was taken about 15 minutes before the sun went down. It shows the corbett of Cul Beag behind Loch Sionasgaig. It is one of the few times in Scotland where I've wanted more clouds! This would have given more interest in the sky...I suppose I shouldn't complain! Sony A7. Sony FE 28-70.

A nice pink sunset in Inverpolly, Scotland, with the mountains of Cul Beag and Stac Pollaidh behind Loch Sionasgaig. The only thing missing was some clouds for interest in the sky. Sony A7. Sony FE 28-70.

Suilven from the Island
In 2009 Andrew and I spent a week crossing the Inverpolly Nature Reserve (North West Highlands) with our Charles River canoe, this was our wild campsite on loch Sionasgaig. (looking the opposite direction from the previous photo).
