Snow Bridge
As the idea of this exercise was to test my back after crushing my lower disc at Christmas, I wanted to see how it would fair with climbing, with a full backpack. I climbed up above Glen Muick to the snow line 400 meters above me, and as can be seen by the snow on the path, I'm almost there!!

Snow Covered Mountains
High in the Cairngorm Mountains now, with the snow covered slopes below Lochnagar, all beneath a clear blue Spring sky.

Twin Paps
Reflecting the shape of the snow covered Miekle Pap beyond, a marker cairn marks as far as I go on this trip. Miekle Pap literally translates as "Large Breast", and now we have two!

Icy An Abstract
Descending the mountain once more, ice has formed across the path, easy to skirt around but fascinating to see the intricate patterns it has formed.

Wintry Panoramic
From near the summit of Conachcraig we have a fine view of the very wintry and snowy slopes of Lochanagar, with the point of Meikle Pap in front. Conachcraig is a Corbett standing at 865 meters (2837 feet). A Corbett is a Scottish mountain between 2500 and 3000 feet high, with at least 500 feet of descent on all sides.
