Waiting For The Sun. 🌞(Explore 18/02/2023)
A fairly recent capture, taken from the kitchen window before sunrise, when we couldn’t have a proper shoot due to the builders in the house. So glad they are no longer here, although I am now full of cold and we have high winds in Durham, so I’m still stuck inside. 🙈Hopefully more shoots to come in the next few days. Happy weekend everyone. 😍

‘The Lineup’
Image number 2 of our photo challenge. So, 2 days ago, being fed up of both being stuck in to keep an eye on the building work going on, we set each other a challenge. Both to go to the local woods separately and capture 3 scenes of our choice. I took the 28-300mm and the macro lens out, Daniel took the prime lenses 50mm and 85mm. This is one of the shots I decided upon. Unfortunately the woods were full of beer bottles and cans 😡 So I opted to do a sheep shoot in the field next to the woods. This is the second image selected to post. ‘A Single Note’ 🎼
The third and final image from our recent photo challenge, while we had the builders in. The good news, they have ‘finished the job’. The bad news, they missed a bit and will need to return to complete it. Luckily it only looks like an hours work. We have been left with utter devastation to deal with. They were very shoddy and careless while working. I will at some point soon go into more detail. At the moment we now need to deal with the aftermath, Antonio has a week off college next week, so fingers crossed we can make this house a home again in time for next week.
