There used to be several different routes we could take from the house. The hardest one was up and over the hill behind the house. Parked near farm entrance on minor road to east then up road and track to trig. Then into the 400 metres of thankfully dry wasteland. There was deep heather, tree stumps, ditches, brambles, bracken and new trees to negociate.
