MV Loch Alainn, Isle of Eriskay. Outer Hebrides. Scotland.
The Caledonian MacBrayne car/passenger ro-ro ferry “MV Loch Alainn” berthed at the Isle of Eriskay ferry terminal in the Outer Hebrides. She was built in 1997 and operates a scheduled ferry service from the Isle of Eriskay to the Ardmohr ferry terminal on the Isle of Barra. She can carry a maximum of 150 passengers and 20 cars on her 40 minute crossing of the “Sound of Barra”

Park at harbour car park at Acairseid Mhòr, then back along road to minor road on left which is followed to a path to the 12 stations of the cross painted on the rock face ascending to a cross. So up to the cross then to ruin then up to two gates where fence can be crossed to allow access to hill where route is easy enough to summit.
