Poolewe to Kernsary
After abandoning the idea of climbing mountains we were chased out of the glen by the rain and washed up on the shores of Loch Ewe. Parked up in Poolewe sand set off along the banks of the River Ewe in the dreich weather for the 7 mile circuit of Loch Kernsary. Definitely a better option than heading up into the clouds in the rain as the drizzle soon stopped and we stayed dry all day whilst watching heavy showers sweep past and drown the mountains.
