OS Map of Stob Chalum Mhic Griogair South Top

Ben Vorlich at Sunrise
One thing yesterday taught me is don't understitmate how hard it is to carry walking gear (including axe and crampons) as well as camera equipment.... I made it to the summit but not in time for the sunrise. I managed to find a sheltered spot to take this. Will be going back, need to find some good locations for the future then head straight there. The sun even graced us with clear skies & glorious views. Summit days don't come much better.

This is OS mapping. In some areas, OpenStreetMap shows more footpaths
Spatial NI has online OSNI mapping. Click "Basemap Gallery" (4 squares icon at the top).
Now would be a good time for a cup of tea.

The other photos have been geo-tagged as on or around the summit. For less busy mountains, it can be a little hit and miss.

- Data: Database of British and Irish Hills v18.2
- Maps: We use OS mapping for England, Scotland, Wales, and the Isle of Man. Sadly, Channel Islands, Northern (OSNI) and Southern Ireland (OSI) mapping isn't available online, so we use Openstreetmap.
