Next Stop Cracoe Memorial
From Rylstone Cross my next port of call was in view - Cracoe War Memorial. There is (or was) a trod on the "outside" of the wall that makes its way through these assorted gritstone outcrops - I took the well defined and easier track along the "inside".

OS Map
This is OS mapping. In some areas, OpenStreetMap shows more footpaths
Spatial NI has online OSNI mapping. Click "Basemap Gallery" (4 squares icon at the top).
Now would be a good time for a cup of tea.

The other photos have been geo-tagged as on or around the summit. For less busy mountains, it can be a little hit and miss.

Misty Memorial
A walk up to the memorial to the men of Cracoe and Rylstone on Remembrance Day. The sun was trying to break through the morning mist but only managed it as we headed off across the moor to continue our walk.

Distant Memorial
For most of the time we had been on a trod through the heather but a short mile after leaving the memorial we picked up this track. One of many such tracks on the moor it would have served the quarries and mines that were worked up here a few hundred years ago.
