On the Dales Way footpath, near Cam Farm. Ingleborough dominates the view beyond, with ominous rain clouds above it. I'm still editing old photographs whilst lockdown rolls on.

Breadpiece Barn
Breadpiece Barn

Ruined barn on the Dales Way to the east of Cam Houses. I remember taking shelter here many years ago, in a particularly heavy rainstorm. It had a roof on then, and I was able to make a brew in dry and comparative comfort.

The Road in the Green Field Valley (2)
The Road in the Green Field Valley (2)

This is sort of a secluded hidden valley, somewhat ignored by visitors to the Yorkshire Dales. Both sides are covered by a thick blanket of plantation, some of which has been recently felled. The road leads to High Green Field, only to become a rough track. For vehicles, therefore, it does not lead anywhere. The beck itself rises in the forest and flows eastwards to Beckermonds where it joins the Oughtershaw Beck to eventually become the River Wharfe.
