Window of Opportunity
Looking through a window of the ruins of Altanour Lodge (an old hunting lodge in its day) at the distant end of Glen Ey, we have a fine view of the Scottish Highlands and the Glen we've cycled up.

Yellow Mushroom
This large yellow mushroom (ID required please) grows in the shelter provided by the ruins of Altanour Lodge, enjoying the Autumn sunshine in the Scottish Highlands.

Icy Abstract
A pond near the ruins of Altanour Lodge at the end of Glen Ey in the Scottish Highlands lies frozen in early November, forming these rather abstract fronds at its edges.

Tracks of My Miles

Sunshine and Waterfalls
After cycling 7 miles up Glen Ey (taking over 2 hours with all the stops I've made along the way), it's lunch time. This was my chosen spot for the day with the water burbling in my ears and the sun so warm I could actually eat in my t-shirt .. bliss.

Monochrome Dreams
Waterfalls at the end of Glen Ey, which burble and roar in my ears as I eat my lunch at the end of a 7 mile cycle through the highlands.
