Dalwhinnie Munros, Scotland
Two weeks spent in Scotland. After a week staying in Glencoe, we headed to Aberfeldy for a week. Our last hike took us from Balsporran cottages, just south of Dalwhinnie, over four munros around Dalnaspidal forest.

Carn 'Ic Loumhaidh
A beautiful col nestled in the hinterland behind Beinn Udlamain & Sgairneach Mhor at the head of the mighty Coire Dhomhain. Grasses, mosses and soft heather predominated underfoot with a spongy peat base which gave the sensation of walking on air at times. A quiet, peaceful place haunted by the songs of ptarmigan, plover and the keening of the wind. Magical.
