The Passing
TfW trains pass at All Stretton on the Marches line. 150257 heads north with 2M06 from Swansea to Shrewsbury while 197111 + 197048 head south with 1V40 from Manchester Piccadilly to Milford Haven on 14 February 2025.

Getting Into Position
West Coast Class 47 No. 47802, Class 33 Nos. 33029 & 33207 pass All Stretton on The Marches line working 5Z73, an ECS move from Carnforth to Bristol for The Verney Venturer railtour the following day. 14 February 2025.

Duff Information
Popped out for this a week last Friday, and both myself and Nigel, who had come a fair way for it, were quite disappointed the Duff was tagged on the front to be honest. 47802 leads Crompton pairing 33029 and 33207 through All Stretton, Shropshire on a positioning move for a railtour the following day, 5Z73, the 08.10 Carnforth Steamtown to Bristol Kingsland Road running around 36 minutes behind schedule at this point, Friday 14.2.25. The Verney Venturer would run from Bristol to Bicester via Birmingham the following day, minus the Duff!

#11 Storm over Caradoc, 11/01/2025
A cold but dramatic walk from this Thursday, we walked over Hope Bowdler Hill, up and down Caradoc and then back over Hope Bowdler again for good measure. It was great fun with beautiful light all day particularly as we headed for sunset. This was taken from the top of Hope Bowdler looking back at Caradoc and the storm beyond. It didn't amount to much though , literally three flakes of snow and that was it.
