Fair Snape Fell
Dennis and Trig Pillar. First recce for Jan '24's Chipping A walk Not too bad up to this point... From Wikipedia - Fair Snape Fell is one of the larger hills in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire at 521.9 m (1,712 ft) . It is classed as a Marilyn and it occupies a position in the very south of the main range of fells, alongside and just to the north of Parlick, to which it is joined by a ridge. The word snape means "pasture"; thus Fair Snape Fell means "fell of the fair (beautiful) pasture"

Brown Berry Plain
This was part way through a bog hop, we did a second recce to find an alternative route to avoid the bog hop. It was chill and windy, but Dennis likes to bag a "summit". On the day the A party hopped through the bog. Wolf fell Christmas tree
A visit to the Wolf fell Christmas tree, we have a regular Sunday Morning jog / walk on the Bowland fells. I don’t always want to get up and go but because it’s arranged I make the effort and it’s always worth it.

The other photos have been geo-tagged as on or around the summit. For less busy mountains, it can be a little hit and miss.
