Yorkshire Dales near Garsdale Head
This was taken from the country lane that goes up over the top between Dentdale and Garsdale Head. Both Dentdale and Garsdale were once part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. There are coal deposits up on this fell, and in years gone by, the coal would be delivered by packhorse to nearby villages. The lane became known as Coal Road.
