The Cheviot
Another from my recent morning dash to Long Crag at Thrunton which I completely failed to reach in time so had to settle for Coe Crag instead. This was taken somewhere along the way. A really beautiful fresh morning to be out.

Long Crag
Lovely walk today through Thrunton Wood then onto the moors and a steepish climb to Long Crag. A really peaceful place, we both felt sleepy in the hazy sunshine.

This is OS mapping. In some areas, OpenStreetMap shows more footpaths
Spatial NI has online OSNI mapping. Click "Basemap Gallery" (4 squares icon at the top).
Now would be a good time for a cup of tea.

The other photos have been geo-tagged as on or around the summit. For less busy mountains, it can be a little hit and miss.
