NM971369, LR49. HISTORY Pillar completed 9th July 1958, cost not on record. Computed as tertiary triangulation station NM52/T33 within the Mull secondary block, and levelled to second class precision during 1960. This pillar station was last maintained by the Ordnance Survey in May 1981. SITE VISIT Parked near a high spot on B845, ENE of the summit. Walked almost a striaght line route to the trig column, skirting around the small loch. Hotine column. The pillar is in good condition. The spider centre is open. The flush bracket faces east, compass measurement 96°. Vented through the back (west) sight hole. The 360° panorama includes Beinn Lora and Mull.
