“Benwiskin Mountain” – The Breaking Wave
Ballintrillick, Yeats Country, County Sligo, Ireland As part of the Dartry Mountain range that include Gleniff Horseshoe & Benbulben Mountain, Benwiskin has its own unique look. The rest of this range is pretty much a flat topped plateau but Benwiskin is the odd ball because it is shaped like a giant breaking wave 🌊 I never truly realised how tall & impressive this mountain actually was until standing right next to it. Benwiskin really does have such a unique shape compared to the average mountain. From the opposite side is as equally impressive with grass leading the whole way up to the peak & onto a sheer vertical drop as you can see in my photo Hope you enjoy! Eagle Rock
Eagle Rock, from Cleighragh, Co. Leitrim (We enjoyed a serendipitous hike through constantly changing dappled light under scudding clouds after morning showers. I took too many pictures, but the changing light and dramatic clouds was wonderful.)

The other photos have been geo-tagged as on or around the summit. For less busy mountains, it can be a little hit and miss.
