Above the clouds
Another one from a wander in Dumfries and Galloway. The hills are big, but non-descript compared to the hills in the Highlands. This more subtle landscape makes photography a bit more challenging. I used the long lens quite a bit as it suited the landscape better than my trusted wide-angle.

Donald's Cleuch Head
A fab walk in the Hills of Southern Scotland today, the light and mood constantly changing, bright sunshine and heavy snow showers...there's a huge amount of snow high up, with signs of several large avalanches on some of the steeper slopes.
