Ben Challum and the rest of the Crianlarich hills from the summit of the Corbett Beinn Chaorach. I had this hill to myself yet when I passed the An Caisteal car park there was not a space to be had. I think I made the right choice.

10475 - Beinn Chaorach
NN358328, LR50. HISTORY Pillar completed 20th May 1959 costing £9.2s.3d. Computed as secondary triangulation station NN44/S4 within the Rannoch Muir secondary block, and levelled to second class precision during 1959. This pillar station was last maintained by the Ordnance Survey in July 1982. SITE VISIT The parking is in an off road car park for local walks at NN353289. Ascended and decended via the southern ridge, following the mini fence posts of the defunct electric fence. The Vanessa is in good condition but is weathering. The spider centre is open. The flush bracket faces NW, compass measurement 334°. Vented through the left and front sight holes.
