The Avich Falls
The River Avich flows about 1 mile down the steep glacial valley of Loch Awe from Loch Avich and the falls are near the foot of the gully. There are several falls but the main one is of three cascades crossing open rocks. The falls are in the Inverliever Forest of the Barnaline estate near to the village of Dalavich in Argyll and Bute Scotland.

until the rivers run dry (video)
These falls are off the beaten track a 40minute drive down some of the worst, most heavily potholed, single-tracked roads I can remember- not for the faint-hearted! (I have discovered some exciting new video processing software which permits reversing the footage so be warned...)

The Falls of Avich[Explored! Thank You Again!]
These falls are off the beaten track a 40minute drive down some of the worst, most heavily potholed, single-tracked roads I can remember- not for the faint-hearted! A pleasant combination of cascades but having wanted to see these out-of-the-way falls for several years since learning of them I was a little sad to have got there just too late: they have built a hydro scheme (the intake is visible as rails at the top of the shot here) which has necessitated the 'improving' of the forest tracks in the vicinity and the clearing of trees and vegetation. Hopefully nature will encroach soon.
