Long ago, they were often brought into the home to increase warmth and protect them from theft. Today the highland cow, or as the Scott’s say, the Highland Coo, can be found all over Scotland. They are docile and friendly….and very photogenic.

Walked to the mauseoleum then found an obvious wide path which was followed into the woodland then headed upwards after small quarry like area. Easily out onto open hillside via path then only a deer fence to climb before the summit with Martin Richardson and Jim Bloomer.
