Faerie Magic!
Another from my favourite part of the Fairy Pools with Sgurr an Fheadain as a backdrop, near Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye. I liked the moody sky, in this one and the dusting of snow on the Cuillins was lovely!.

Bucket List.
I've dreamed of visiting the Fairy Pools, near Glenbrittle for a long time. The series of waterfalls at the base of the Black Cuillin Mountains are often photographed with Sgurr an Fheadain as a backdrop and the dusting of snow made the backdrop perfect. When I wasn't happy with my shots from our first session, my wife offered to go back because she knew how important it was to me. The afternoon light was better and I came away tired but happy!

Isle of Skye

Although it was a road walk from Talisker Bay back to Carbost I didn't see anyone all the way.

Talisker, Skye
After a long and gloomy afternoon shooting in Glen Brittle I wanted to shoot the sunset at Talisker Bay, because the sun came back. Unfortunately, when I arrived at Talisker it was already too late to start the walk to the bay and still get a shot once there. So I turned back, quite disappointed, and saw this old farm next to the road in the sunset and got out to take a few quick snaps before the sun went behind the hill. Talisker Bay will have to wait for another visit to Skye.
