Two Rocks
From Altnaharra there are 3 road choices to reach the North Coast. We seem to have taken the left option past Ben Hope on most recent visits so decided to change tack and take the central A836 along Loch Loyal. After a fruitless (for me) stop at a roadside bothy we continued north a short distance but stopped when spotting the light finally catching the mountain tops. Typically though, the light had become flat once again by the time we had parked and walked a few 100m to get a decent aspect on Ben Loyal. Despite some (infrequent) breaks in the cloud and a wait of over an hour, I had to make do with the light raking across the foreground and catching this isolated 'mountain-shaped' rock.
