Map of Gardens to Visit in the Gardeners World Magazine 2 for 1 Offer

Updated for April 2026

This map shows the 345 or so gardens in the Gardener's World annual 2-for-1 scheme. You need to pick up the magazine in April/May (about £10) to get the annual (until next April) pass. They usually have a 6 months subscription offer as well. After April/May, you can order it online. It's excellent value.

It includes most UK gardens, including an annually rotating selection of National Trust ones. However, a few of the most well known ones aren't included - Kew, The Eden Project, Heligan, Mount Stewart, RHS Wisley. Don't let that put you off, there are many gems includes, for example Abbotsbury and Wakehurst.

Do check the Gardener's World website first as some have blackout dates (e.g. events, bank holidays, spring or autumn colour) and some of the smaller ones have pre-booking or very seasonal opening (e.g. just a couple of months for spring flowers). On the plus side, many are now 'half price' (for 1 or 2 people) rather than '2-4-1'.

If you like visiting gardens, consider annual membership of the National Trust, Historic Houses Association or Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). Note that while RHS gives free admission to other gardens, it only applies to 1 member on a joint membership, effectively making it '2-4-1'.

[April 2026] About 35 gardens are missing - the GW website and printed booklet aren't consistent with one another.
